The Michigan Science Center (Mi-Sci) is a Smithsonian-Affiliated science museum in Detroit, Michigan. The mission of the Michigan Science Center is to inspire curious minds of all ages to discover, explore and appreciate science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in a creative, dynamic learning environment. With over 220+ interactive exhibits, dynamic live stage shows and demonstrations, theater shows and special exhibits, Mi-Sci puts guests at the center of science every day!

Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve

A nature center on 16 acres of forested land adjacent to the Paint Creek Trail in Rochester, MI. Dinosaur Hill Nature Preserve is a 501(c)(3) non-profit encompassing 16 acres of land. Dinosaur Hill offers educational opportunities to residents of Rochester and the Rochester Hills area through classes, field trips, online videos, and on-site demonstrations. The preserve trails and nature center are free and open to the public during normal business hours and is supported through grants and donations. From Daffodils for Dinosaurs and Heritage Days to the NEW Hike-a-Thon we have a load of family-friendly events to experience. At the preserve we love to teach and share knowledge! Many of our classes feature hands-on learning about animals, biology, and nature--and we have options for wide age range.
