With support from the Dearborn Recreation Department and parent volunteers, the DYS continues to challenge and nurture young musicians. Members range from 8 to 22 years of age and represent over 25 communities within the metropolitan area. The DYS rehearses and performs at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center. To its' members, the DYS offers solo/concerto competitions, scholarships, and grants. The DYS is comprised of a concert orchestra, a symphony orchestra, String Orchestra and flute choir. DYS concerts for the 2017-2018 season will occur in the Michael A. Guido Theater on December 3, 2017; March 4, 2018, and May 6, 2018. Tickets available on-line or through our Center Box Office at 313-943-2354. Senior & Student discounts are available through Box Office sales only.
