Four Seasons: Artists Inspiring Artists at the Flint Institute of Arts

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 09/21/2019
Artist and filmmaker Philip Haas created four 15-foot sculptures called the Four Seasons, inspired by Renaissance painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo’s botanical portrait paintings of the same name. After being wowed by The Four Seasons exhibition, Youth Members will learn about the accomplishments of Haas and Arcimboldo and use paint and collage to create a portrait that celebrates nature. Parents should enjoy the FIA galleries while their children work from 2 – 4 pm. Free to FIA Youth Members ages 5–12 or purchase a $20 membership at door.
