Ode to the SAT

by Madison Ross

Ode to the SAT

Equivocate, antithesis, elongate, and equate.

Derogatory, parallactic, nuance, and negate.

Remorseless, antecedent, henceforth, forthright, tense, and terse.

Vent, construct, lilt, hesitate, pedantic and rehearse.

Event, exhume, militia, demolition and design.

Corrected, co-dependent, continuity, confine

Competence, oregano, neurotic, mace and fool.

Knack, portfolio, cadenza, virtuous and cruel.

Maniacal, exhaustive, independent, and device.

Precision, rigorous, adaptive, automated, vice.

Morose, relate, mortician, standards, evident, passé.

Intuitive, attentive, retroactive, and relay.

Inductive, shattered, fitting, rant, rewarded, and attained.

Necromancy, atrophied, dank, sinister and deigned.

Delegate, delete, detract,forsake, foretell, detain.

Counterrevolutionary, additive, disdain.

Arbitrary, felony, denial, fortitude.

Behavior, bent, beheaded, narcissistic, illness, brood.

Retract, retrace, regret, react, reduce, retain and pawn.

Latitude, observe, expand, deduce, and lexicon.
