Ages 8 – 12
In this exciting class, students will learn about scenes and monologue work and apply it onstage in an impressive short play performed for family and friends. Students will improve their public speaking skills and learn the value of teamwork, communication, and confidence as they tackle a diverse group of characters in a fun and challenging story. Students will be taken through the audition process and collaborate together in rehearsals in preparation to shine onstage in a final performance in front of family and friends.
Note: This class is meant to be taken ongoing and different material will be worked on in each session. Students will be given roles and activities according to their experience and ability. The goal of this class is for the student to experience growth session by session as they tackle bigger roles and more challenging material.
