Let’s come together through music and dance to celebrate the  beauty of our diverse community in Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow, and the beauty of people of color throughout the globe. The creators of the video “Black is Beautiful”- Producer and composer Pablo Mayor and Folklore Urbano NYC musician and Managing Director Anna Povich de Mayor, along with Dance Director and choreographer Daniel Fetecua—will lead young and old in the movements and rhythms inspired by the words and music “Black is Beautiful”, recorded and released recently by Folklore Urbano NYC. Join us in a live virtual event as Pablo explains what went into composing the song, and Daniel teaches the choreography from the video.  After, share in a communal viewing of the video, and a Q & A to discuss what this means to our own community!

The program is in English and Spanish!
