Search the cosmos for one of the most unique objects known to science in Black Holes: Space Warps & Time Twists. This complementary exhibit immerses visitors in the modern search for black holes— the most mysterious and powerful objects in the universe—through a variety of interactive and multimedia experiences.
Explore the Hubble Space Telescope and the James Webb Space Telescope in New Views of the Universe. The exhibition immerses visitors in the magnificence and mystery of the Hubble mission. A scale model of the Hubble is the focal point of the installation. "Satellite" units incorporate hands-on activities about how the telescope works, and a "Space/Time" section features Hubble's contributions to the exploration of planets, stars, galaxies, and the universe. Through computer games, videos and displays, visitors will experience how the Webb telescope uses cutting-edge technology to see the universe in infrared light. The advanced technologies in the James Webb Space Telescope will enable scientists to see farther back in time than any other satellite in existence.
