Ducks on the Detroit River

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/25/2023
During the winter months our feathered waterfowl friends flock to the Detroit River and Lake Erie by the hundreds of thousands. Join us as we head to Cove Point and scan for canvasbacks, redheads, mergansers and more! Discover where these birds come from, why the Lake Erie Metropark area is such an important place for these birds, and how we study them to help us learn about the health of our ecosystem.
