Fostering Dogs: How You Can Be Part of the Solution @ Downtown Secret Lab

*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 10/19/2016
Have you thought about bringing an animal into your home—temporarily? It's what we in the rescue world call "fostering" and it can make an enormous difference...for you, for your community, and, of course, for the animal.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

As a dog trainer, educator, and advocate, Hannah Ashmore is often at the crossroads of fostering, whether in-home, playing match-maker, or dreaming of a day when there's no need. Join her for a conversation about reputable rescues, questions you should be asking, what's involved, and more.

For Grade 6 to Adult.

*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
