Founders Day Parade and Festival - Celebrating Highland's 190th Anniversary

Celebrate the vibrant history and tight-knit community of Historic Downtown Highland at our annual Founders' Day Festival and Parade! Proudly presented by the Highland Downtown Development Authority.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
The festivities kick off with a jubilant parade at 10 AM, featuring spirited youth baseball teams and local organizations parading down Livingston Road from the Highland Nazarene Church to John Street, painting the town with excitement and cheer.

After the parade, the festival springs to life with a kaleidoscope of activities for all ages! Kids will revel in our enchanting Kids Zone, where bounce houses, pony rides, and a petting zoo await.

Discover treasures and treats from local artisans and indulge in delectable delights from food trucks. Plus, take a ride on the mini-train, and let your imagination soar with whimsical face painting.

Join us for a day of community spirit, fun, and laughter as we honor Downtown Highland's Founders' Day in style.
