*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 09/07/2024
Learn about Downtown West Dearborn's architecture and history with a tour led by Join Ian Tomashik of Preservation Dearborn, and/or Mason Christensen, of the Dearborn Historical Museum. Along the tour, participants will learn about the early history of the city and how the community evolved over time. Toward Howard and Military streets, participants will learn how a number of successful and failed urban renewal projects radically reshaped the look of the downtown.

All guests should be prepared to walk, sometimes on uneven surfaces, for about an hour and a half.
If it looks like it will be stormy or too hot, we will reschedule and let you know ahead of time. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour.
Restroom facilities may be unavailable along the tour route. We will not be entering any buildings as part of the tour, but the Commandant's Quarters will be open before and after the tour.
