KAY with Shree classes offer:
Kids Yoga, Mommy and Me, Partner Yoga and Family Yoga. In addition to this I also conduct Yoga birthday parties, Girls Scout where they earn Badges, Slumber parties, For more details visit (www.kiddingaroundyoga.com/shree).
The typical KAY with Shree Kids yoga classes include Yoga poses taught through songs, stories and interactive games. My class teaches playful ways to do breathing that helps children to cope with anxiety, stress and also teenage depression. To help children calm down, reduce distractions and to increase their focus and concentration, I teach meditation in the most fun ways.
KAY classes have a unique and fun system for teaching cultural diversity, tolerance, and embracing all religions through our very own songs and stories.
Some of the things you will experience in the KAY with Shree Kids Yoga are:
- Arts & Crafts
- Singing
- Stories
- Meditation
- Tie-Dye (only for big camps in summer)
- Games
- Drumming
- Sun Salutations ( through fun songs)
- Yoga-lympics
- Concepts of Peace, Love, Sharing, Compassion, Non-Violence, Karma, Co-Existence, Kindness, & Tolerance.
KAY yoga class packages during or After school programs:
Yoga classes are grouped into two for K to 2 grade kids and 3rd to 5th grade kids.
Charges are $7/per child/per class for typically a 20 to 45 min class (I can design a class to fit your time requirements)
If there are more than 20 kids per class, then I shall make a donation to the school per class (usually 20% of my class takings). Also I will offer FREE class for 10 kids (per group) for those taking reduced or free lunch at school.
I shall bring music, my speakers, yoga mats (for rent $2 per class or buy new $10), games material, CDs, T-shirts (for purchase) and loads of energy :-). Kids Yoga class requires at least 10 kids to sign up. If yoga is done in school gym, we do not require mats.
According to your School or PTO protocols, Parents can either sign up online after calling me for registration at 734-904-2917 (http://kiddingaroundyoga.com/shree) OR we can work out a flat hourly fee as I am flexible with both payment methods.
The other workshops I have to offer are for Teachers. This is a 2 hour workshop called as EDU-KAY.
Edu-KAY’s methods seamlessly blend Yoga into any learning environment. Through KAY’s active songs and activities, children will get a brain-break, energize, refocus and be ready to return to their activity. Each Edu-KAY activity lasts between one and ten minutes and can be practiced in any environment, from a classroom to a gym, from a backyard to a living room. Edu-KAY is truly designed to meet the classroom-management needs of every teacher, coach, therapist, and instructor that attends an Edu-KAY workshop.
You will learn and receive:
1) KAY Training Manual
2)Yoga poses with proper alignment
3) Different breathing techniques
4) Original KAY music (10 FREE songs & Activities for downloading)
4) Private EDU-KAY Facebook forum invitation
Please contact me if you want to host this workshop in 2016.
$ 50 per Teacher for 2 hr workshop, everything above is included. You provide space and location. If upto 10 teachers sign up then, Workshop price will be discounted to $45 per Teacher.
