*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 08/20/2016
Russian folktale about the adventures of a little Butterball named Kolobok, who was baked by an elderly childless couple

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

This story is well known in America as The Gingerbread Man; in Scandinavia — as The Pancake Man. In this production, the adventures of Kolobok are seen through the eyes of two forest creatures, performed by live actors who bring to life the floor puppets –animals in traditional Russian costumes. The bright, sunny, cheerful colors of the scenery and costumes help create the atmosphere of the magical forest. With originally composed music and lyrics, this musical is fun for all ages.
