Become a more confident and independent creative through New Groove’s Music Empowerment Camp this summer! Our half day virtual camp from 9-12pm will give students of all ages the opportunity to connect with musicians and peers to create a memorable experience!
Our camp will include:

Movement and mindfulness

Singing and/or playing musical instruments

Learning musical improvisation

Collaborating with other musicians everyday

A musical scavenger hunt

Creative expression through art

Crafts and artsy activities

Interpreting music and stories in music

Creating their very own student led performance!
Music Empowerment Camp
Virtual Half Day Camp from 9am - 12pm
Programming for All Ages and Instruments
This camp is for:

Students who are learning or want to learn any instrument, including voice.

Ages 6-17, separated into groups by age and ability.

Students looking for a creative outlet this summer.

Students who want to learn and have fun in a group setting.

Students who love music, games, and performing!
Students will receive a special New Groove Camp Kit delivered right to their home before the start of camp! Our Camp Kit will include music, a t-shirt, craft materials, and directions for fun activities that will take place during our camp week!
Camp Activities include:

Movement

Students will explore movement as a tool for good musicianship and healthy minds and bodies!

Listening and Art

Students will listen to music, learn about the story behind the music, and use crafts and art activities to help interpret the story and music they listen to.

Music Scavenger Hunts

Students will receive directions to guide them on a camp scavenger hunt to find items right in their own homes and neighborhoods!

Crafts and Activities

Our Camp Kit will include crafts and activities that promote independence and creativity.

Student-Lead Performance

Our final performance will be created by the students themselves. We’ll give students the tools to share an awesome musical performance with family, friends, and our greater community.
