Experience the magical fantasy world of childhood and the transportive power of imagination! Conductor Wilbur Lin and the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra bring some of the most beloved soundtracks from Studio Ghibli to life, now with TWO family-friendly performance dates at the Michigan Theater. Hear music from 'Spirited Away' (2001), 'My Neighbor Totoro' (1988), and 'Howl's Moving Castle' (2004), plus grab photos with some of your favorite Studio Ghibli characters!

Extra matinee performance just added! Experience two days of thrills, spills and nostalgia as the historic Michigan Theater is transformed into the recording stage of the celebrated Tokyo-based animation group Studio Ghibli. The John Williams to Steven Spielberg of the animation world, Joe Hisaishi’s colorful and sprightly scores to Hayao Miyazaki’s Academy Award-nominated films have woven themselves into the fabric of childhood for viewers around the world.
