Owl Fest at Lake St. Clair Metropark

HOOT HOOT HOORAY! It’s time for Owl Fest! Enjoy a day of free owl activities and crafts that are fun for all ages. Join us for a guided hike for a chance to view our resident Great Horned Owls through spotting scopes and visit the interactive owl displays inside the Nature Center. For extra owl fun, register for the Live Owl Presentation throughout the event with Michigan Avian Experience.

To attend the live owl presentation, a program fee and registration is required, space is limited. Click here to register.

What to expect:
This event takes place indoors and outdoors. Visitors wishing to observe the owl bucket will walk on compact gravel trails approximately ½ mile round trip. Those with mobility challenges are encouraged to call ahead and golf cart transportation to the nest may be available.

Pre-registration is not required.
