Paper Making Series at Ypsilanti District Library

Need a new approach to holiday cards? Join us for a paper making series where we will create our own paper using recycled materials. Join us for a paper making series where we will create our own paper using recycled materials. There will be two working sessions, and patrons must register for both programs to receive their completed project. This is a kid and family friendly event, so we encourage children ages 7 and up to participate with their guardians.

Session 1:
- January 11, 3-4:30pm.
- Paper making with recycled materials. This session will be messy, as attendees will be using water to create their paper projects. Individuals will be blending and using molds to create their paper. Patrons are encouraged to dress for mess. Aprons are available upon request.
Session 2:
- January 25, 3-4:30pm.
- Paper decoration. After the created paper has dried completely, it will be time to decorate the paper. Individuals will receive their cured paper and will have an opportunity to use library materials to decorate it.
