Sun & Sand in Tecumseh

Enjoy the beautiful days of summer at the Sun & Sand Festival in Downtown Tecumseh. Five oversized sand sculptures created by Ice Creation of Napoleon Ohio will adorn the downtown area. This will be a fun and interesting process as spectators can watch them create larger than life works of art from sand on Friday. SCAVENGER HUNT: Follow the clues on the scavenger hunt map to find hidden treasures throughout the businesses. Once you have completed the clue sheet turn it in for a chance to win a gift card packet from the local merchants. Sheets will be available closer to the event on this page, the Downtown Tecumseh facebook page and at the participating merchants. Friday night there will be a street party downtown with live entertainment, food trucks and family friendly games. A great way to spend an evening in the community. The Tecumseh Farmers Market at The Market on Evans - Will be open Saturday with fresh local produce, breads and pastries, handmade items, antiques and vintage items for you to purchase from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
