Tarot Basics: The Major Cards

In this workshop students will take a deep dive into the Major Arcana, the 21 “trump” cards in the tarot deck. These cards represent major life moments and tend to stay for longer periods of time. Then, students will learn the meaning of each card, The Fool’s Journey, and how the Major Arcana can be looked at as a life path. This class will also look at the cards symbolically and how different decks have interpreted meaning through imagery.

Please note: Students do not need a deck for this course. The Smith-Waite Centennial Tarot Deck will be used as a base and worksheets will be provided with card images and journal prompts so students can continue to dive deeper into the cards on their own time.

About the teacher:
Tiff Monde is the face behind A Little Off Balance. She is an intuitive tarot reader, and has been trained in the art of Soul Tarot by Lindsay Mack of Tarot for the Wild Soul. As someone who was drawn into the cards in her late teens, she had a back and forth relationship with the tarot for the better part of 10 years, until she began a daily practice that slowly morphed into a desire to read for others. She hosts workshops on tarot, the moon, witchcraft, and teaches yoga in Rochester, NY.
