Meet some of Connecticut Audubon's residernt raptors and learn fascinating facts about why they are so amazing.

Did you know that many owl species can turn their heads 270 degrees, or that their unusual face shape means that they have great hearing because more sound is directed into their ears?

During this live webinar, dive into the amazing world of owls and learn fascinating facts while meeting some of the non-releasable birds serving as animal ambassadors in Connecticut Audubon's education programs.

Each of the owls residing at the CAS Center at Fairfield were either imprinted on or suffered a permanent injury that makes them unable to survive in the wild. They now have important roles representing their species in educational programs that help people learn about their natural history and the issues facing raptors today.
